Montceau-les-Mines | Obituary. "He truly had all the talents": former Charlots Richard Bonnot, dead at 67

After Jean Sarrus, Richard Bonnot has also passed away. He was a member of Les Charlots since 1986, following the departure of Gérard Rinaldi. Many Montcelliens remember him as a music teacher who taught at the Saint-Vallier and Le Creusot middle schools. He recently composed a musical comedy with Fabienne Thibeault, which the singer now wishes to produce in his memory.

It was one of his close friends, Thierry Barbelivien, who announced the bad news: the death of Richard Bonnot , pianist, singer and composer, this Tuesday, October 28. He was 67 years old. "He was a child of Blanzy who was a music teacher at the colleges of Saint-Vallier and Le Creusot. I met him when he came to settle in Boulogne-Billancourt, in the same building as me, joining the Charlots in 1986. He was the one who brought me to Saône-et-Loire where I live today.
